Legal information

Terms and conditions

These terms apply to our quotes and work unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Last updated: August 2026

Scope

These terms apply to all quotes and assignments from Stuccosaurus. Differing terms apply only where agreed in writing.

Should any provision prove invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply in full.

Quotes

Quotes are free and without obligation, and are valid for 30 calendar days unless another period is stated.

A quote is based on the information and the condition of the substrate observed during the visit. If conditions that were not visible come to light once work starts — damp, a poor substrate or defective earlier work — we will tell you before continuing and record any additional cost in writing.

Carrying out the work

Stated timescales are good-faith estimates and may be affected by weather, drying times, material availability or the progress of other trades.

To work we need access to the property, along with water and electricity. Rooms should be cleared unless agreed otherwise.

Result and maintenance

Stucco and microcement are applied by hand. Small variations in tone and texture are inherent to these materials and are not defects.

We will give you curing and maintenance instructions. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper use or maintenance, by damp arising later, by structural movement of the building, or by work carried out by others.

Prices and payment

Prices are in euros. Unless expressly stated otherwise they exclude VAT, which is charged at the applicable rate.

Unless agreed otherwise we invoice on completion, payable within 14 calendar days. For larger projects we may agree staged payments.

Right of withdrawal

If you contract as a consumer and the agreement is concluded away from our premises or at a distance, you have 14 calendar days to withdraw without giving a reason.

If you expressly ask us to start within that period and the service is performed in full, the right of withdrawal lapses. If you withdraw once work has begun, you pay for the proportion already carried out.

Complaints and statutory guarantee

Please raise any complaint with us in writing and as soon as possible, so we can assess it and put it right where appropriate.

The statutory guarantees under Spanish consumer law apply in all cases, as does liability for construction defects under the Spanish building act (Ley de Ordenación de la Edificación).

Liability

We are liable for direct damage attributable to us. Save in cases of intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the work in question.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law grants consumers on a mandatory basis.
