Cookie policy

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Equivalent techniques exist, such as local storage. The law treats them the same way, so we list them all here.

NEXT_LOCALE — a first-party, technical cookie. It is only created when you pick a language in the switcher, and remembers that preference for your next visit. It holds no personal data and expires after a year.

Because this cookie is strictly necessary for a service you actively requested, no prior consent is required.

On the home page we show our latest Instagram posts through an Elfsight widget. When it loads, that widget writes one technical key to your browser's local storage (eapps-instagram-feed-red-like-time) to remember your interaction with the posts.

The widget also causes your browser to connect to Elfsight's servers and to Instagram/Meta's image network, which receive your IP address. Our privacy policy explains this further.

We use no Google Analytics or any other analytics package. There are no advertising pixels on the site, we set no profiling cookies and we share no data with advertisers. We do not build behavioural profiles of visitors.

You can delete and block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block everything the site still works: at most it will not remember your language choice and the Instagram widget may not appear.

If we later add tools that do require consent, we will update this policy and put a consent banner in place before switching them on.
